The Hyannis Marathon Team Relay
Marathon Team Relay Entry Fee:
$90.00 before 02/1/08, $110.00 after 02/1/08, guaranteed T-shirts up till
02/1/08, as available thereon. The Entry Fee is non-refundable. Make all

Post-Registration: Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:59:59 a.m. (Unless Sold Out prior to Race Weekend)
Race Packet & Number Pick-up: Saturday & Sunday
The Hyannis Marathon, Half Marathon, 10Km & Marathon Team Relay will all run concurrently. There will be four legs (7.3, 5.8, 7.3. 5.8)
A team member must run at least one full leg and any one runner may run up to three legs in any order chosen. Relay runners will have a white colored bib number worn on the the front and they will carry batons. Baton passing will take place only at one of the designated exchange points. Teams making exchanges anywhere else other than at a authorized exchange location will be disqualified. The exchange locations will be at the Craigville Beach parking lot on Craigville Beach Rd and in front of the Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis on Scudder Street. The exchange locations are very easy - 2 runners will be at the Craigville Beach location and 2 runners will be in front of the Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis. There is ample parking at the Craigville Beach exchange location.
Bib Numbers
Each race will be designated with a different colored Bib# to differentiate the participant in 2008.- Blue Bib= Marathon
- Red Bib= Marathon Early Start
- White Bib= Half Marathon
- Yellow Bib= 10Km
- White Bib= Marathon Team Relay
The following teams will compete for awards one deep (divisions):
- Open Team-Men & Women (0-39 years old)
- Masters Team-Men & Women (40-49 years old)
- Sr. Masters Team-Men & Women (50 years old plus)
- Mixed Open Team (all ages)....must have a minimum of 1 woman on a team..
- Mixed Masters Team (40-49 years old)...must have a minimum of 1 woman on a team..
- Mixed Sr. Masters Team (50 years old plus)...must have a minimum of 1 woman on a team
- Clydesdale Team (all ages)...190lbs. minimum weight per man
- Filly Team (all ages)...140lbs. minimum weight per women
The Course will not be completely free of traffic for any of the races, so it will be important for all relay teams to use good judgment when getting team members to and from a relay exchange location. The Hyannis Marathon Team Relay will be a two loop course so getting to and from the relay exchange locations will not be difficult. It will be appreciated if each team limits it's travel to and from these locations with no more than two vehicles.
There will be provided at T-shirt and bib number pick-up a map of where the exchange locations are located.

Fees:
A multi-colored long sleeve tee shirt is guaranteed with the registration for all events up until February 15, 2008 and then as available after February 16, 2008 and on race weekend.
