Event Timing

The 2011 Hyannis Marathon, Half Marathon, 10Km & Marathon Team Relay will be timed by Granite State Race Services using ChronoTrack B-Tag: A single-use bib tag.

The B-Tag system will be used for timing and scoring. The B-Tag timing system begins timing once you cross the Start Line and stops once you cross the Finish Line, enabling us to provide the precise time that it takes you to complete the 26.2, 13.1 & 7.2 mile courses.

Each Hyannis Marathon, Half Marathon, 10Km & Marathon Team Relay runner will receive a B-Tag timing device, which is matched with your runner information and bib number, at bib number pick-up.

Before the race, please make sure your bib is:

• Clearly visible on the front of the torso
• Unaltered and unmodified (do not fold or wrinkle)
• Pinned in all four corners
• Not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)

Results will be posted in Net Time order. Awards, other than top overall finish awards, will be in Net Time order as well.  The top 6 positions, men and women, will still be determined by official Gun Time and physical order of finish.

Results will be made available following each race in the Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis Ballroom. In addition, they will be found post race on the RunningInTheUSA.com, MarathonGuide.com, and Coolrunning.com.
